Matthew spent years working as a day laborer, facing the harsh reality of the traditional staffing agency model. He saw first-hand how agencies would charge contractors a premium, while the worker—doing the actual heavy lifting—received only a fraction of that pay. Even more frustrating was seeing a great opportunity for a permanent position blocked by restrictive contracts and expensive buyout fees that local companies simply couldn't afford.
When Matthew transitioned to owning his own junk removal company, the pain points only intensified. As an owner, he hated the long-term contracts, hidden fees, and the bureaucratic red tape that traditional temp staffing models required. He wanted to hire reliable workers at a fair rate, but the middleman was always standing in the way, making it harder to scale and harder for laborers to find good jobs.
