Terms of Service

1. Nature of Service (Classifieds Model)

Day Labor On Demand (DLOD) is a "Classifieds" style platform similar to Craigslist. We provide a digital space where independent day laborers and contractors can connect. We are not an employment agency, headhunter, or labor broker. We do not facilitate contracts, handle payroll, or manage workers.

2. No Employment Relationship

DLOD does not have anyone on contract. Users of the app (Laborers and Contractors) are entirely independent parties. By using this service, you acknowledge that no employer-employee relationship, joint venture, or partnership is created between you and DLOD.

3. No Responsibility for Payments

DLOD is strictly a connector. We are not responsible for the payment of workers, the processing of wages, or any financial disputes that may arise between parties. All financial arrangements must be handled directly between the Laborer and the Contractor.

4. Limitation of Liability & Site Safety

DLOD is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or any damages that occur onsite or during the course of a job. We do not inspect job sites, vet safety protocols, or verify the skills of laborers. You use this platform at your own risk.

5. Insurance & Legal Compliance

DLOD is not responsible for providing workers' compensation, liability insurance, or any other form of insurance for either party. It is the sole responsibility of the Contractor to ensure they are properly insured and compliant with local labor laws. Laborers are responsible for their own personal insurance and tax obligations.

6. Indemnification

Each party (Laborer and Contractor) agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Day Labor On Demand, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from their use of the platform or their interactions with other users.

7. User Verification

DLOD does not verify the identity, background, or legality of its users. We encourage all parties to perform their own due diligence before entering into any work arrangement.
